SCOPE. Outlines procedures for obtaining approval for proposed landing/takeoff of helicopters at the GSFC and assigns responsibilities for involved organizations.
PURPOSE. To establish a written policy and clearance procedure governing landing/takeoff of helicopter aircraft at the Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC)/Greenbelt. The Wallops Flight Facility abides by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations part 91, General Operating and Flight rules as applicable.
