WRC - BULLETIN 303

INTERPRETIVE REPORT ON DYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF PRESSURE COMPONENTS

active, Most Current
Organization: WRC
Publication Date: 1 April 1985
Status: active
scope:

The Interpretive Report on Dynamic Analysis of Pressure Components was first issued as WRC Bulletin 246 in February 1979 . That report was updated and the Second Edition was published as WRC Bulletin 269 in August 1981 . This second revision of the report presented an evaluation of four areas of technical importance to the pressure vessel industry: 1) dynamic modeling. 2) pipe rupture phenomena and missile impact. 3) pressure transients. and 4) seismic analysis and related effects. This third revision of the report updates WRC Bulletin 269 by summarizing the development programs that were completed subsequent to the second edition by updating the reference list. by expanding the dynamic modeling section to include response analysis for stochastic forces. and by the inclusion of a new section on fluid-structure interaction. This Third Edition will be used as a guide for future subcommittee research on Dynamic Analysis of Pressure Components
