active, Most Current
Organization: WRC
Publication Date: 1 May 1985
Status: active
scope:

Experimental limit loads were determined for five 4-in. sched. 40 nominal size ANSI B16.9, A106 Grade B carbon steel tees loaded with either an in-plane or out-of-plane moment couple on the branch outlet. Two of the tees were full-outlet 4 X 4-in. tees with nominal branch dimensions of 4.5-in. OD and 0.237-in. wall thickness and three were reducing outlet 4 X 2-in. tees with nominal branch dimensions of 2.375-in. OD and 0.154-in. wall.
