The results contained in this bulletin were obtained through projects undertaken by the PVRC Task Group on Continued Operation of Equipment. The objective was to make recommendations to ASME Codes and Standards to develop guidelines and criteria for continued operation of equipment. In addition, the task group had the responsibility of making recommendations for developing guidelines for evaluating piping; nondestructive examination of material degradation; and operation and maintenance history and life cycle management
