This Bulletin, WRC Bulletin 446 NOVEMBER 1999 investigates the practices followed in the design and repair of buried piping in the power, process, pipeline and waterworks industries. First, the design requirements from several codes for Power (ASME B31.1), Process (ASME B31.3), Oil Pipelines (ASME B31.4), Gas Pipelines (ASME B31.8) and Waterworks (AWWA) are covered.
