Purpose
This pamphlet provides coding information relating to commissioned and warrant officer personnel ordered to active duty, active duty for training (ADT), or appointed in the Active Army (AA) from other Army components. A code entitled procurement program number (PPN) has been devised to describe the Procurement Program from which an officer is commissioned or appointed.
Applicability. This pamphlet applies to the Active Army, the Army National Guard/Army National Guard of the United States, and the U.S. Army Reserve, unless otherwise stated.
