Use/Relationship:
1. This plan describes the Contractor's INFOSEC Anonymity Plan (IAP) and identifies the procedures to be used to ensure anonymity between the Government and the prime Contractor, ensuring that any offshore vendors, suppliers, manufacturers, or distributors are unaware of the relationship between the item being purchased and the Department of Defense (DoD).
2. This Data Item Description (DID) is applicable to the acquisition of DoD systems and equipment.
3. This plan is required when INFOSEC equipment, components and parts are designed, produced, or packaged from sources outside the United States.
4. This DID contains the format and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirement, as delineated in the contract.
5. The IAP shall be classified SECRET//REL TO USA, AUS, CAN, GBR, NZL or SECRET//NOFORN, depending on the program's Classification Guide (if available) and/or whether the IAP refers to a bilateral relationship with a Partner.
