scope:
When different contractors are used to perform design and perform a task requiring design data (in this case Logistics Support Analyses), conflicts of interest between the contractor organization may result in the inability to complete the analyses. Design Engineering and Logistics need to work together during the development effort in order to effectively reduce life cycle costs. This relationship must be supported contractually and organizationally to minimize conflicts and to promote synergy.
