Determination of wear characteristics of toothed belts (elastomer, cord fabric) under the influence of liquid media (water, coolant, oil) at medium temperatures (+130 °C oil, +30 °C water / coolant).

This Test Method is applicable to all toothed belts for engine timing.

Note: Nothing in this specification, however, supersedes applicable laws and regulations unless a specific exemption has been obtained.

Note: In the event of a conflict between the German and the English language, the German language shall take precedence.
