This international standard specifies the minimum data needed for the prefabrication and assembly of pipework and for its transfer from engineering departments to the workshops of the pipe production, to the workshops of the shipbuilding industry. It specifies written information needed for construction of piping installations that marine piping equipment manufacturers submit specifications and instructions to shipyards on shipbuilding. The generation, type presentation and filing organisation of this data are not covered by this international standard.
