This Technical Speci cation speci es the form and establishes the interpretation of facilities that extend the Fortran language de ned by ISO/IEC 1539-1:2010. The purpose of this Technical Speci cation is to promote portability, reliability, maintainability, and ecient execution of programs containing parts written in Fortran and parts written in C, for use on a variety of computing systems.
