Comments disposition is a critical part of standard reviews and evaluations. A Technical Coordination Meeting (TCM) that is part of a document/data review allows Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to discuss and vet comments and issues within requirements and documentation. Maintaining a standardized process is also an integral part of the Data Management discipline, especially during an informal evaluation, when comments are incorporated prior to a formal Change Request. If comments are incorporated without an SME's input, the data or document may be changed inappropriately during comment incorporation.
