Für die Errichtung und den Betrieb von stationären Batterieanlagen ist zusätzlich die Sicherheitsbestimmung DIN EN 50272-2 (VDE 0510-2), Sicherheitsanforderungen an Batterien und Batterieanlagen - Teil 2: Stationäre Batterien zu beachten.

Für Antriebsbatterien ist zusätzlich die Sicherheitsbestimmung DIN EN 50272-3 (VDE 0510-3), Sicherheitsanforderungen an Batterien und Batterieanlagen - Teil 3: Antriebsbatterien für Elektrofahrzeuge zu beachten.
