This procedure is intended to serve as a general guideline for label installation. This standard describes the procedure for applying a label to a painted metal, glass, plastic, cloth or other material surface. The label can be either a pressure-sensitive adhesive attached label or a heat-transfer label. An in-process tape adhesion test for heat transfer labels is also included.
