This standard applies to completely assembled, inspected, and tested gasketed plate heat exchangers with elastomeric gaskets and carbon steel frames used in power plants. Some of the commonly used names for gasketed plate heat exchangers to which these standards apply are listed below. This list is not intended to be all-inclusive or solely limited to those heat exchangers named, but is open to other applications as well.
