The European Standard prEN 13087:1997 describes methods of test for protective helmets. The purpose of these tests is to enable assessment of the performance of the helmet as specified in the appropriate helmet standard.
This Part of prEN 13087:1997 specifies conditions and conditioning to be used when testing protective helmets.
