scope:
This specification covers two classes of flexible rubber tiles intended for damping vibrations in steel structures for shipboard use.
Classification. The rubber tiles shall be of the following classes, as specified.
Class 1 - For damping vibrations in steel plates ½ inch thick or less.
Class 2 - For damping vibrations in steel plates greater than ½ inch but less than ¾ inch thick
intended Use:
