Use/Relationship: The EICD is a signature controlled drawing set detailing the aircraft/nuclear weapon interface and associated electrical systems. The Final Design Approval Report (FDAR) is part of the EICD and like the FDAR, the EICD must contain information extracted from the contractor documentation in order to complete a composite drawing reflecting the basic electrical interface features.

This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparations instructions for data resulting from the work task described by the following documents: MIL-STD-1822, Nuclear Compatibility Certification of Nuclear Weapon Systems, Subsystems and Support Equipment, Specification Standard No. SYS 1001 AMAC POG System 1 Basic Interface Specification, and Specification Standard No. SYS 2001 AMAC POG System 2 Basic Interface Specification.
