Use/Relationship: The NWSDD defines the nuclear configuration of the aircraft's avionics and nuclear weapon delivery systems, including test and support equipment. The nuclear configuration is defined by the hardware and software/firmware components of the aircraft's avionics system and nuclear weapon delivery system.

a. This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions data resulting from the work task described by MIL-STD-1822.
