scope:

Purpose

This regulation prescribes policy and procedures for awarding the Brigadier General (BG) Jeremiah P. Holland Award each fiscal year to the most outstanding military police unit, company-size or smaller.

Applicability.

This regulation applies to the active Army, the Army National Guard/Army National Guard of the United States, and the U.S. Army Reserve, unless otherwise stated. It also applies to all military police units, company - size or smaller. Military police units include those performing combat support, physical security, correctional supervision, maintenance of law and order, criminal investigation, or other military police duties.
