This Standard specifies requirements for tubing to be used with equipment for the administration of respirable 40 gases in domiciliary, ambulance and hospital locations including the interface to the equipment i.e. respiratory 41 small-bore connectors. This tubing is mainly used with oxygen, air or mixtures of these gases. 42 Respiratory gas monitor tubing and related connectors are excluded from the scope of this standard. 43 NOTE The devices to which respiratory therapy tubing is designed to be connected will be covered in future revised 44 editions of e.g. ISO 5367[1], ISO 10651-4[2], ISO 15002[3], and ISO 27427[4].
