This standard deals with the laying of wood block flooring for interior applications.
This standard does not cover the installation of subfloors or the laying of floor battens (cf. DIN 18334).
DIN 18299 clauses 1 to 5 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, the latter shall take precedence.
