scope:
This standard deals with the laying of pressure pipes for water, gas and other fluids outside buildings, including those laid in ducts or conduits.
This standard does not deal with the associated earthwork (cf. DIN 18300), with trench support work (cf. DIN 18303), or with the installation of gas, water and drainage pipework inside buildings (cf. DIN 18381).
Clauses 1 to 5 of DIN 18299 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, the latter shall take precedence.
