Purpose and Scope

This Engineering Practice was developed to establish a method for planning and uniformly reporting data from tillage experiments. It is recognized that not all scientists will wish to record all data suggested or to report all data which might be taken from an experiment. This Engineering Practice presents optimum information which might be taken. The use of Geographic Information System (GIS) maps should facilitate information transfer for PA field experiments. The minimum documentation of every tillage experiment, regardless of extent, should include at least those items which are marked with an asterisk (*) in Section 8 Records, Observations, and Measurements.
