Design, constructional, dimensional and test requirements for flameproof bolted cable couplers and adaptors, of the 3-pin and 3-contact tube type, with separate pins; primarily intended for 3- or 4-core wire armoured cables. Arranged to permit separation of the bolted units without disturbing the attachment of the cable thereto, provides for the connection of cable coupling units and adaptors of different makes, indicates minimum ordering frequencies.
