This EEMUA Publication provides a set of reasonable and practical guidelines for users, procurers and inspection bodies. The guidelines advise parties of the areas where problems can be expected when dealing with manufacturers, fabricators and vendors and what to look for. They also include measures that users and procurers can take to minimise the risk of buying counterfeit materials and equipment or receiving substandard documentation, including examples of useful checklists, procedures, and other processes.
