This Order defines security requirements for passwords and PINs used to access FAA systems; (e.g., Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) such as: computers, BlackBerry devices, cellular devices) or other electronic devices used for FAA business.
Purpose of This Order. This Order establishes the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Policy for passwords and Personal Identification Numbers (PIN) management as authentication tools used to access FAA information and information systems resources. This Order assigns the roles and responsibilities for managing access to and safeguarding FAA information and information systems.
