This Technical Specification provides requirements and test methods for flexible, pre-insulated, directly buried heating pipe systems with in-situ cross-linkable polyethylene PE-Xb service pipes to be used for district heating. This Technical Specification is valid for systems with maximum operating temperatures of 95 °C and maximum operating pressures up to 6 bars and designed for a lifetime of at least 30 years. This Technical Specification does not cover surveillance systems.
