This Standard contains additional provisions that apply to newly produced gas-fired appliances intended for outdoor installation and constructed entirely of new, unused parts and materials.

Construction provisions are covered in Part I.

Performance provisions are covered in Part II.

Definitions may be found in the applicable appliance standard( s) or in the current Standard CCA 3.0 DEFINITIONS AND GENERAL FIELD RECOMMENDATIONS.

Appliances whose appricable appliance standard(s1 does not reference this Standard need not comply with these provisions.

This Standard contains SI (Metric) equivalents to the yardipound quantities, the purpose being to allow the standard to be used in SI (Metric) units.
