PURPOSE
This John C. Stennis Space Center (SSC) standard (SSTD) provides a uniform method of assigning identification (ID) numbers to all newly installed oral warning microphones, speakers and stations at SSC.
APPLICABILITY
a. This standard applies to all newly installed oral warning microphones, speakers and stations.
b. This standard does not apply to existing oral warning microphones, speakers or stations.
c. This standard does not apply to oral warning microphones, speakers or stations designated as "future" on existing drawings as these already have ID numbers assigned by the installation contractors on the respective drawings.
