Diese Internationale Norm legt Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der elektrischen Widerstände leichter Fördergurte nach ISO 21183-1 fest. Die Widerstände sind der Oberflächenwiderstand, der Durchgangswiderstand senkrecht zur Gurtoberfläche und der Durchgangswiderstand in Längs- und Querrichtung parallel zur Gurtoberfläche. Diese Internationale Norm legt auch zwei Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung des spezifischen Oberflächenwiderstands und des spezifischen Durchgangswiderstands fest.
