Purpose of this Order.
This Order prescribes FAA's operating procedures and responsibilities for implementing and enforcing Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Public Law (P.L.) 88-352 as amended (codified at 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq); the non-&scrimination provision (49 U.S.C. § 47123) in the Airport and Airway Improvement Act of 1982, as amended; and the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, P.L. 94-135, (codified at 42 U.S.C. § 6102) in its Federally-assisted programs. This Order also executes FAA's responsibilities under the Department of Transportation (DOT) Order 1000.12.
