scope:

Purpose. This standard contains the common, Program-Independent information for the Statement of Requirements (SOR). The SOR describes the engineering processes, tasks, events, and deliverables required of the Supplier to provide a Product/Commodity for the GM vehicle program(s). The SOR takes effect at the time of Supplier selection and continues through the phases of the program(s) identified in 1.3.

Note: All references to any Appendix are not internal to this standard. They are references to other documents that are part of the SOR package.
