This international Standard describes the following test methods for sunglasses: - determining the minimum robustness of an ocular. - determining enhanced robustness of an ocular. - determining distortion and lens retention of the complete spectacle. - determining the endurance of the frame. - exposing an eye protector to simulated solar and UV irradiation. - determining the resistance to ignition of eye protectors. - determining the capability of the eye or face protector to resist impact by high mass projectiles, traveling at low speed. - determining the capability of the eye or face protector to resist impact by a low mass projectile, traveling at high speeds.
