PURPOSE

This directive describes the requirements and procedures for the creation, use, preservation, maintenance, storage, and disposal of Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) records.

APPLICABILITY

This directive applies to all GSFC organizational elements and personnel and to contractors who create and/or maintain records for GSFC including documents and records related to the Center's Quality Management System. Records produced by a contractor and later supplied to GSFC as records will be governed by contract requirements.
