scope:
The standard specifies a method for the determination of chlorine and other oxidizing chlorine compounds. The method is not applicable in strongly coloured and turbid samples. The method is applicable on drinking water and water from swimmigpools. Chlorine determination is also possible by using DS 283, Colorimetric method.
