scope:

This European Standard specifies the road safety requirements for self-propelled agricultural machines.

It applies to self-propelled machines which exceed a maximum design speed of 6 km/h running on tyres or endless tracks and which may be required to travel occasionally on the public road network.

This document is not applicable to self-propelled agricultural machines:

- consisting of machines mounted on a chassis of motor vehicles;

- which are manufactured before the date of publication of this document by CEN.
