scope:

PURPOSE

This standard defines the requirements and practices for the preparation of component servicing documentation at Stennis Space Center (SSC) to establish or maintain systems configuration and to provide quality workmanship and safe work practices during component servicing in the SSC Fluid Component Processing Facility (FCPF).

APPLICABILITY

The standard applies to the processing of all components and subassemblies at the SSC FCPF and to the preparation of related engineering and configuration control documentation including, as applicable, Site-Wide Operation and Repair Documents (SORD). The practices and requirements of this standard are mandatory. Although this standard does not require revision of documents existing before its publication, applicable documents prepared or revised following the publication of the standard shall comply with the technical procedures, requirements, content and format as specified herein.

Documentation within the scope of this standard consists of Component Documentation Index (CDI), Specification Control Drawing (SCD), Disassembly and Assembly Instruction - SORD (DAI-S), Disassembly and Assembly Instruction - Vendor (DAI-V), Component Process Control Sheet (CPCS, form SSC-368), Certification/Configuration Control Card (CCC, form SSC-633), Process Plan (PP, form SSC-90), Test Instruction (TI), Technical Procedure (TP), , Advance Revision Notice (ARN, form SSC-652), Stennis Work Request (SWR, form SSC-704), Discrepancy and Correction Report (DCR, form SSC-339), and Material Usage Agreement (MUA, form SSC-716). These documents are defined and discussed in Section 5.0.
