These Documentation present the basic rationale for the establishment of ACGIH TLVs for physical agents: cold stress, hand-arm (segmental) vibration, hand activity level, heat stress and heat strain, infrasound and low-frequency sound, ionizing radiation, lasers, light and near-infrared radiation, noise, radiofrequency and microwave radiation, static magnetic fields, sub-radio frequency (30kHz ahd below) and static electric fields, sub-radiofrequency (30 kHz and below) magnetic fields, ultrasound, ultraviolet radiation, and whole-body vibration.
