scope:
Purpose. To standardize the distribution of operation orders (OPORD) and operation plans (OPLAN) of Navy component commanders to the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO). This instruction is being reissued with a new date, updated version and signature authority to meet CNO's age requirement for Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) instructions.
