scope:
Purpose. To update security policy and procedural guidance for the control and handling of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) classified material by NATO control points within the National Capital Region established under the administrative control of the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO), NATO Sub-Registry. This instruction is being reissued with a new date, updated version and signature authority to meet CNO's age requirement for Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) instructions.
