This standard specifies requirements for glass reinforced plastic (GRP) mouldings and provides a guide to methods for the production of hand-laid up GRP mouldings, and is thus a working document for guidance only.
This Defence standard does not cover:
a) Quality Control Inspection Procedures and Acceptance Procedures and Acceptance Procedures for GRP Mouldings. This is covered by Def Stan 02-701 Part 2;
b) A Guide to the Various Tests and Testing Methods for Evaluation of the Quality of GRP Mouldings. This is covered by Def Stan 02-701 Part 3.
