Preface
This is the first consolidated edition of the 0132.2 Series on wood flush doors. It supersedes Clause 1 Scope, Clause 2 Definitions, Clause 3 Flush Doors, and Clause 5 Glue Line Requirements for Wood Doors of CSA Standard O1 32.2-M1977 Wood Doors.
Requirements for Stile and Rail Doors are still covered in CSA Standard 0132.2-M1977 in Clause 1 Scope, Clause 2 Definitions, Clause 4 Stile and Rail Doors, Clause 5 Glue Line Requirements and three amendments to Clause 5 published in November 1983.
Each Standard describes a particular aspect of door construction or manufacture. The following Standards are included in this series:
(a) General Requirements for Wood Flush Doors (0132.2.0);
(b) Solid Core Wood Flush Doors (0132.2.1);
(c) Hollow Core Wood Flush Doors (0132.2.2);
(d) Testing and Inspection Requirements for Wood Flush Doors(Ol32.2.3); and
(e) Hardware Locations for Wood Flush Doors (0132.2.4).
This series of Standards is published by the Canadian Standards Association to provide guidance to producers, distributors, architects, builders, code officials, government agencies, and the public. It includes criteria that will permit freedom of architectural expression. Nevertheless, custom made, special order wood flush doors will continue to be available for all types of architectural designing.
Both imperial and metric (SI) units are listed in this series. However, where confusion or conflict occurs, imperial units are to be taken as the standard. Metric conversions are approximate equivalents.
This series of Standards has been modelied on the NWWDA Industry Standard I.S. 1-87 Series, Wood Flush Doors, with amendments. This redrafted series was reviewed and adopted by the CSA Technical Committee on Wood Doors under the jurisdiction of the Standards Steering Committee on Building Materials and Products and was formally approved by these Committees. It has been approved as a National Standard of Canada by the Standards Council of Canada.

(2) Although the intended primary application of this Standard is stated in its Scope, it is important to note that it remains the responsibility of the user of the Standard to judge its suitability for his particular purpose.
(3) CSA Standards are subject to periodic review, and suggestions for their improvement will be referred to the appropriate committee.
(4) All enquiries regarding this Standard, including requests for interpretation, should be addressed to Canadian Standards Association, Standards Division, 178 Rexdale Boulevard, Rexdale, Ontario M9W 1R3. Requests for interpretation should
