Diese Norm ist anzuwenden für wiederkehrende Wirbelstromprüfungen an nicht ferromagnetischen Dampferzeuger-Heizrohren von Leichtwasserreaktoren, wobei die Prüfung mit Hilfe mechanisierter Prüfeinrichtungen von der Rohrinnenseite aus erfolgt.

Eine wiederkehrende Wirbelstromprüfung von Dampferzeuger-Heizrohrstopfen als Bestandteil des Primärkreises ist nicht Gegenstand dieser Norm. Aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Ausführungsformen von Dampferzeuger-Heizrohrstopfen ist der Einsatz speziell angepasster und zu qualifizierender Prüftechniken erforderlich.

Es werden Prüftechniken zum Auffinden von Inhomogenitäten (Oberfläche) und Anforderungen an Prüfpersonal, Prüfgeräte, die Vorbereitung der Prüf- und Gerätetechnik, Durchführung der Prüfung, sowie die Protokollierung festgelegt

ANMERKUNG Angaben über Prüfabschnitt, Prüfumfang, Prüfzeitpunkt, Prüfintervall und die Bewertung von Anzeigen sind im kerntechnischen Regelwerk (KTA) für wiederkehrende Prüfungen festgelegt.
