scope:
This International Standard applies to high-pressure flexible hoses assemblies intended to be connected to cylinders, cylinder bundles or trailers for use when filling and emptying gas at production sites and also for customer use. The requirements of this standard are applicable to flexible hose assemblies with working pressures up to 1 000 bar for use in the temperature range of - 40° C to + 65° C For customer use of flexible hose assemblies up to 450 bar the type testing requirements of ISO 21969, ISO 14113 and ISO 10380 apply. Assembled hoses for cryogenic applications are not covered by this standard but by EN 12434.
