This European Prestandard defines ceramic matrix composite materials with continuous reinforcements. This pre-standard specifies the notations to be used for the mutualy perpendicular directions 1,2,3 of ceramic matrix composites. It sets the rules for writing the symbols and the quantities which characterise the mechanical and thermal properties of these materials.
