scope:

This Standard specifies steel sections produced by hot-forming stainless steels into H sections, angles and channel steels.

Further, "steel sections" is a generic term for H sections, equal leg angles, unequal leg angles and channel steels.

The symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/ lEC Guide 21-1.
