Diese Norm gilt für geböschte und für verkleidete Baugruben und Gräben, die von Hand oder maschinell aus· gehoben und in denen Bauwerke· oder Kanäle hergestellt bzw. Leitungen verlegt werden.
Von dieser Norm abweichende Ausführungen bedürfen nach den bauaufsichtliehen Vorschriften eines Nachweises der Eignung im Einzelfall, sofern nicht eine allgemeine bauaufsichtliche Zulassung vorliegt oder ihre Anwendung nach anderen Richtlinien zulässig ist.
Zweck
Diese Norm gibt an, nach welchen Regeln Baugruben sowie Gräben für Leitungen und Kanäle zu bemessen und auszuführen sind. Für einfache Fälle werden Verbauregeln (Normverbau) angegeben, bei deren Beachtung besondere statische Nachweise entfallen können.
