The performance requirements specified herein cover a connector receptacle backshell that is affixed to the connector receptacle. This type connector receptacle mounted on the front edge of a circuit card or printed circuit board (PCB). This connector receptacle backshell does not incorporate features to restrict movement, position, and twist or a feature to capture the single fiber cables. Also, there are no features to prevent the penetration of various environments.
