This Standard specifies a method for assessing the resistance of anodic oxidation coatings (hereafter referred to as the "coatings") on aluminium and aluminium alloy products (hereafter referred to as the "products") to cracking by deformation.

NOTE: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.

ISO 3211 : 2010 Anodizing aluminium and its alloys -Assessment of resistance of anodic oxidation coatings to cracking by deformation (MOD)

The symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/lEC Guide 21-1.
